It allowed “us” to learn so many things about how youtube works, especially titles, thumbnails, the critical importance of subtitles for the algorithm & engagement. We’ll see how that works out shortly (@ Aug ’25) & always be doing continuous improvement anyways

The channel is the story of the development & launch of NLC (storyboard of the 1st “proper” video infact)
We had a problem – we couln’t develop Trimarans fit for 2030 with 1950s infusion tech.
So we deleloped VARTM ultra-light double vacuum for composites & the silicone infusor.
Along the way, frustrated with UK suppliers we searched worldwide for special companies and special materials – resins, foams & cloths, but more are waiting in the wings for just the right time to be added. We’re ‘well-positioned’ to be testing them, as with the infusor we have super-fast turnaround !!!
Our mindset then says – hey, wouldn’t it be cool if {xyz annoying thing}, so we’ve developed a lot of awesome tools from silicone rubber intensifiers of various shapes & sizes, to in-house developed automated kit that less than 2% of the pros have & which we can supply with wifi app control (when we have the time), loads of improvements & at a fraction of the cost.

@ Aug ’25 : We’ve got 776 files to edit in DaVinci resolve backdated from October 2024 & we either start moving it off from 6TB PC ram to >100TB external storage or just get it edited & out there.
We had to stabilise the design & get it reasonably protected, that’s part of the delay story.
So, we need around £25,000 in orders so that I can move the materials from the garage and the YouTube studio from the Kitchen/Lounge all into a modest industrial unit. That’s to pay the rent, re-invest in more stock, and get from the clutches of UK officialdom (in hindsight, it will be a really inspiring story & one I will publish to YouTube !! …. but later )

editing over 1TB of ‘workshop’ video content containing over 80 hours of content across over 8 infusions & tests, that produced around 60 foam core and flat composite panels
dong a soft quiet launch of this website, while we debug the plethora of details needing correction, mostly in product details
preparing for what will hopefully be a very loud and noisy launch on YouTube & various other social media platforms
…except there are quite a few things that the creator can do to influence their youtube “luck”, and we’ve searched for; studied, and implemented all that time permits
#1 is have amazing content, and after landing the moon on the kitchen table, we think we might have some youtube success
